ABOUT
I am inspired by colour and textures, and more recently the dynamics of wire as a medium. I have always had a love of very strong colour…colour with verve and spirit. I set out to create pieces that transcend fashion; pieces that are feminine and hand worked but also timeless and modern.
Having a lifelong involvement in fashion, I have since turned my skills to the designing of jewellery pieces; which I freely admit is utterly addictive. The most satisfying part of my work is seeing someone wearing a piece from an earlier collection in a new way. What interests me is the point where colours meet and mix and the part that texture plays, the balance that proportion and shape impose, not being too exact, it's about knowing where you want the eye to rest, elements of randomness create interest.
I think my customers are confident of doing their own thing, women who are not afraid to create their own style. My designs will continue to favour an individual touch over trends by focusing on creating pieces that are hand-produced, individual and expressive for women of all ages.
